We went to the zoo this summer and it was really exciting because I got to see the animals act really weird. The lions were really loud and made some huge growls. Maybe we came too close for them but they kept pacing in front of us. Then we went to see the elephants and one of the elephants let his trunk slap the side of my head. It didn't hurt because we were having so much fun. Another exciting animal exhibit were the apes. They were pounding there chests and flinging bananas at the guests so we didn't stay long there. The birds were diving at all the guests and the turtles were snapping. We finally figured it out, it was feeding time and my lunch was hanging out of my bag.
ReplyDeleteThis summer was so much fun. One of the most exciting days for me was when my best friend and I went to the beach together. We basked in the sun and enjoyed our favorite music on the radio. We brought our surfboards with us and together surfed some perfect waves. The waves were peaking at 10 feet and we were riding the top on all of them. They were picture perfect waves to surf and we rode every one of them from beginning to end. It was so exciting going to the beach on the most perfect day of the summer.
ReplyDeleteI was taking an elephant ride in Thailand. There was the elephant, the guide carrying a thin stick and me! When we first started out the elephant started to raise his trunk and lift it over his head, then he blew really hard straight towards me! Elephant breath! Really it was elephant nose blowing. I was wondering why the elephant kept blowing his nose at me. Then he ripped off a branch of a tree and started swatting the top of his head. Leaves and branches hit me but that was when I realized what the elephant was doing! There was a small sore on the top of his head and big flies were on the sore. That branch did the job and the elephant put his trunk down. From then on I would wave the flies away from the top of his head.
ReplyDeleteNice story. Sounds like you had an interesting experience.
